Thanks for the question, finally i could share an expert advice.

1. Wash it with vinegar. Makes it less bloodier (semenier?)
2. Rub a generous amount of salt. Makes it less smelly, and creates a barrier for the remaining sack.
3. Wipe off the goo and dripping stuff, then burn it to flames. Makes up for the drama effect.
4. With the cheese grater, just use it to the remaining ball.
5. Just place an icepack, sit on a couch and watch Big Bang Theory marathons.
