Photo Diary: Northern Ireland = Wonderland.

We have visited Northern Ireland a number of times, 

but it was our first time checking some of locations used for the TV series Game of Thrones. 

They are all scattered across the country, but for the show's fans and travellers alike, it's all worth it.

The Dark Hedges. A natural archway of intertwined trees, and one of the most photographed spots in Northern Ireland. This is the scene where Arya was escaping the King's Landing.

Castle Ward located in County Down is known for the show's primary location for Winterfell.

Times are hard at Winterfell.

Did not pass the archers test.

Auldley's Field and Castle by Strangford Lough. 

Known for the backdrop of Robb Stark's camp. (Sniff)

We made a quick sidetrip to Magheracross, along the coastline of Antrim.

The ruins of Dunluce Castle is too beautiful from afar.

Belfast, where the Titanic Film studio is located, 

responsible for the rest of the show's magic and sorcery.

It was time to leave, but we'd always be back in a heartbeat.

I'm pretty sure even Jon Snow knows that.
